Pool water containing suspended contaminants is pumped into the pipes by the water pump. After entering through the inlet, the pool water passes through the filter sand, where tiny contaminants are captured and filtered by the filter media. The filtered pool water is guided by the control valve from the bottom of the filter to the outlet and flows back to the pool through the pipes.
The filter media in the pool filtration sand tank plays an important role. The principle is that when the incoming water flows through the filter layer from top to bottom, suspended matters and colloidal particles in the water are removed, thereby reducing the turbidity of the water and achieving purification. Backwashing, on the other hand, involves washing the debris inside the tank from bottom to top through the inlet and discharging it through the drain outlet, thereby achieving the purpose of cleaning.
